Damaged folding top hydraulic lift motor and plate kit.Folding Top Does Not Raise and/or Lower.I'll be very busy this week and may not be able to reply until later this week. If you have additional questions, I'll be more than happy to answer. I usually check my Craftsman tractors rear transaxle hydraulic fluid by backing it.in you case pushing the rear of the tractor up on car ramps and reach up from underneath to check the fluid level. It's a little tricky to get to but you should be able to manage it. There should be a check port to inspect the level of the hydraulic fluid as well. If you have static drive where the rear transaxle is driven by hydraulic fluid, check for belt operation to make sure belt is in good condition and not too loose. If the belt fell off, make sure that the guide pins that prevents the belt from falling off is not broken, missing, or bent too far out which will allow the drive belt to come out of track. Make sure that the drive belt that drives the rear transaxle pulley has not fallen off, broke off or is too loose.
